Welcome to the Temple Hill Supermarket Rider Guide. This guide provides everything you need to know about our delivery operations and standards.

Who is a Temple Hill Rider?

Temple Hill riders are the backbone of our delivery service. As a rider, you are the final and most important link between our supermarket and our customers. You represent the Temple Hill brand every time you make a delivery.

Getting Started

To become a Temple Hill delivery rider, you must:

- Be at least 18 years of age

- Have a valid government-issued ID

- Have a working motorcycle or bicycle in good condition

- Have a valid rider's license (for motorcycle riders)

- Have a smartphone with internet access

- Complete our rider onboarding and training process

Order Assignment

- Orders are automatically assigned to riders based on proximity to the branch handling the order

- You will receive a notification on your device when an order is assigned to you

- Accept the order promptly to avoid reassignment

- Review the order details including items, delivery address and special instructions before pickup

Pickup Process

1. Arrive at the assigned Temple Hill branch within the stipulated time

2. Present your rider ID at the collection point

3. Verify the order items against the packing list

4. Ensure the order is properly sealed and packed before leaving

5. Confirm pickup on your device

Delivery Process

1. Follow the delivery address provided in the order details

2. Contact the customer if you are unable to locate the address

3. Deliver the order directly to the customer

4. Request the customer to confirm receipt

5. Mark the order as delivered on your device immediately

Delivery Standards

- Always be polite, professional and courteous to customers

- Handle all orders with care, especially fragile or perishable items

- Do not open, tamper with or remove any items from the order

- Dress neatly and maintain good personal hygiene

- Always wear your Temple Hill rider identification

Failed Deliveries

If you are unable to complete a delivery:

- Attempt to contact the customer at least twice

- Contact Temple Hill support for guidance

- Do not leave orders unattended without authorisation

- Return undelivered orders to the branch immediately

Earnings and Payment

- Rider earnings are calculated per successful delivery

- Payments are processed weekly

- Bonuses are available for high performance and peak period deliveries

- Earnings details are available in your rider account

Safety Guidelines

- Always obey traffic laws and road safety regulations

- Wear your helmet and appropriate safety gear at all times

- Do not use your phone while riding

- Report any accidents or incidents to Temple Hill management immediately
